The purpose of the Master’s degree programme in ePedagogy Design (120 ECTS) is to improve the quality of higher education and strengthen its European dimension. It will accomplish this by encouraging transnational cooperation between universities, fostering the European mobility of students and teachers and contributing to improved transparency and academic recognition of qualifications and studies throughout the European Union. This includes mobility grants for students and teachers and a strong mandate to create a Virtual Campus of Visual Knowledge Building in European Higher Education that will support those students who cannot directly participate in exchanges. The MDP aims at a broad spectrum of professional qualifications offered by the two universities involved. Thus the focus is multidisciplinary, with special emphasis on communication theory and practice, issue management, visual knowledge building theory and practice in contextual media culture, hypermedia and knowledge organisation. The MDP in ePedagogy Design fosters international research and community building, student and teacher exchanges, field practice and qualifications for an international job market.
A major part of the programme deals with international research projects that strengthen the multidisciplinary research strands and junior research among the joint university partners.
